ALIS Hardware Description
The ALIS maintenance service package uses a cloud database which is hosted by Microsoft Azure Servers and are under the direct control of ADB SAFEGATE bvba. We do not use on-premise servers.
The ALIS webapplication can be accessed by any modern desktop-based browser with an active internet connection able to access the instance (ie: https://IATA.adbsg-alis.com)
The optional mobile devices used to retrieve and register data in the field are Apple iPads and iPhones.

Description:
The iPad – The Big screen on-site where it is easy to report, understand, register or manage mainteance. It runs the ALIS Team application and is connected with a SIM – Cellular data card to the cloud. The iPad is protected by a military grade case to be shock proof to have a industrial companion. Keep your iPad powered in the car by use of the car charger.
The iPad can use its built in location (through GPS and cellular data) to provide up to 2,5 m accurcate location which enables the auto-selection function for identification of assets on-site. If no 4g or 5g cellular is availabe an optional GNSS location device can be paired to the mobile device to allow for 2,5m accuracy.

Description:
The iPhone - The device to use when you really need to go hands-on for the job.
It runs the ALIS Personal application which can connect directly to the cloud. There is a Quadlock case around the iPhone to make it shockproof and easily mountable onto the AirTorque Wrench. The iPhones can be charged with the cable or for the iPhone 8’s and up you can use the wireless charging mat’s.

GPS correction device (Optional*)
Description:
The GNSS - Location device – Bad Elf Flex® Mini Standard
It provides the iPhones - with up to 1.5m accurate location. Charges from the back through a Micro-USB cable. The Bad-Elf connects with Bluetooth To your iPhone/iPad – and takes over the location service of the device. Long press the power button for Power on/off.
Customized Validation Set Carrying case
Description:
A Validation case contains all of the hardware needed to be able to perform accurate location based maintenance registration and is fitted in a custom made shock and waterproof case. The validation case for 1 is foreseen to have 1 ALIS personal device (iPhone) and 1 iPad. Where the Validation case for 2 is a set for 2 technicians (or 1 spare set).

Torque wrench and iPhone:
The iPhone can come off the wrench and can also be used as a portable user-interface to register maintenance while working, so that the user has all of the information close by and has the comfort of having his both hands to work. The iPhone is easily available when tucked away without being hindered by having to carry the iPad.
